The staff was helpful. they arranged everything for my mum and me when our arrival was delayed. the room was perfectly clean. I appreciated that. the food was delicious and served on hot plates. It was a fabulous dining experience.

Upon arrival. Finding the correct reception area was confusing. i had to go to the main house reception before being directed to a second one. this second reception seemed more like a sports hall. it caused unnecessary additional steps after a long journey.

The hotel features a pool and a sauna, which i found a treat. there is a golf course on the premises. It looked well-kept. parking is abundant on site, and the grounds were very picturesque.

i went with my daughter during half term and was disappointed to learn that swimming was restricted to specific child times. this wasn't clear when i booked. a dog barked in a room nearby and a fire alarm went off at 10pm, just after my daughter fell asleep. it was frustrating.
